Innovation in motion since 1834

Thomas Regout International, based in Maastricht, has a rich history dating back to 1834. Originally founded as the 'Nieuwe Nederlandsche Spijkerfabriek' by Petrus Regout and J.G. Lambriex, the company began with the production of nails. In 1843, Thomas Dominicus Regout took over leadership, modernized production, and relocated the factory to Maastricht's Drieëmmerstraat.

Under Thomas’s guidance, the business grew rapidly, laying the foundation for the innovation and expansion that followed. After his passing in 1862, the company thrived under the leadership of his nephew Eugène Regout, moving to a larger facility in Bosscherveld by 1905.

During the 20th century, Thomas Regout International diversified its product range, introducing telescopic slides and curtain rails. By 1971, nail production was discontinued, and the company rebranded as Thomas Regout N.V.

Today, Thomas Regout International is part of the Regout Group and a global leader in linear motion systems, offering innovative solutions such as telescopic slides and guiding systems. Serving industries such as automotive, industrial applications, and furniture design, we continue to build on our legacy of quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.
