Did you know… that in 1912 Thomas Regout filed their ever first patent. The patent describes the invention of an ingenious apparatus for a butcher, meant to anesthetize small cattle like pigs before slaughter.

In those days, spikes and nails were the core business for Thomas Regout. In essence, the apparatus consisted of a nail like pin operated by two strong springs. But, the pin was design wise very far away from a nail. This clever design had to be protect by means of a patent. 

Since then, Thomas Regout have applied and filed many, many more patents that have more to do with telescopic slides then cattle…
